The Chapel of Saint Mary Magdalene stands on the very edge of the picturesque Dingli Cliffs, which is why it is often known as the chapel of the cliffs, ‘il-kappella ta’ l-Irdum.’ Fishermen in the past used it as a reference point while sailing in the south west waters of Malta.
