Tal-Ħlas
The Sanctuary of ‘tal-Ħlas’ in Qormi, dedicated to Saint Mary Protectress of Mothers in Labour, once served as a welcome resting place for travellers moving between Birgu and Mdina, then the most important towns on the island.
